Hello, I'm Anica Govil

[Your Qualification & Professional Body]

I'm a warm, experienced therapist with a deep belief in the body's innate capacity to heal. My work is person-centred at its core — meaning I follow your lead, at your pace, in a space free from judgement.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also offer clinical supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors.

Before training as a therapist, I worked in [your background]. This experience informs the way I hold space — with genuine curiosity and care.

Therapy here helped me understand my anxiety through my body, not just my mind. I now have tools I use every single day. Truly transformative.

FAQs

If you don't find what you're looking for, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Therapy can be helpful at any stage of life — you don't need to be in crisis to benefit. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about yourself, a conversation with a therapist is a good place to start. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a sense of whether it feels right.
This varies hugely depending on what you bring to therapy and what you're hoping for. Some people find a handful of sessions incredibly useful; others prefer longer-term work. We'll review how things are going regularly and you're always free to finish when it feels right for you.
Yes. Confidentiality is fundamental to the therapeutic relationship. There are a small number of exceptions — for example if I believe someone is at serious risk of harm — and I'll explain these clearly at the start of our work together.
I offer sessions both online via a secure video platform and in person. Many clients find online therapy just as effective and appreciate the flexibility. We can discuss what works best for you.
Clinical supervision is a professional requirement for all practising counsellors and therapists. It's a confidential space to reflect on your client work, professional development, and your own wellbeing as a practitioner. I offer supervision to both qualified therapists and trainees.
Individual counselling sessions are [your fee] for 50 minutes. Supervision is [your fee] per hour. I hold a small number of concession spaces for those on lower incomes — please ask if this would be helpful for you.
